I am happy to welcome you at the brand-new International School of Journalism of Maqsut Narikbayev University. The program that is launched in response to the demand of time in cooperation with TV and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan.
This is the beginning of your journey to the world of journalism and media. The path seems long only at the beginning. In three years, you will master the video/sound editing software, learn how to work with professional equipment, understand what are the principle of creating content, writing and editing texts, reporting news. You will be taught on being ethical, communicative and professional. You will become a journalist, who is ready to work in various conditions and locations.
All of these is possible with the help of the faculty that will teach you. They are the industry professionals with foreign academic background, experts in local and international context of news making. You will have a chance to study under the guidance of professionals, who make the news every day.

My name is Aidiye Aidarbekov, and I am the Head of Educational Programs at our ISJ school. This is one of the most promising schools not only in MNU, not only in Astana, but also in Kazakhstan as a whole.
The opportunities that MNU offers to students, along with the support from the Media Holding TV and Radio Complex of The President of The Republic of Kazakhstan, will be the key to our students' success in building their future careers after graduation. During their education, students can expect not only a practical-oriented three-year program but also a vibrant student life, internships, various events, and opportunities to acquire professional skills.
